We all know that time is a great healer and that's certainly the case for Anne Hathaway.She's finally in a place where she can look back and joke about her ex-boyfriend's unsavoury past.
Raffaello Follieri pleaded guilty to cheating investors out of millions of dollars by falsely claiming he had Vatican connections that enabled him to buy church property at a discount, and was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison in 2008.
In the November issue of Vogue, Anne was asked to name her deal-breakers when it comes to men.She laughingly replied: "Uh... fraud?"
She opened up about the toll the split took on her, saying it has made her more wary.
"It takes a minute for me to let my guard down, but once I do and I get to know someone, I'm very open, very trusting. Some might say too trusting."
The actress went on to say that trust is one of the central issues in her new film Love And Other Drugs (it also stars the hunk of love that is Jake Gyllenhaal) and how it forced her to face her demons."I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day."
Happily, she's now dating actor Adam Shulman.
